Summary

The role of coronary revascularisation is to decrease patient symptoms, improve quality of life, improve life expectancy, but the indication in asymptomatic patient is unknown. In patient with silent ischemia, the stress test helps to establish the indication of the revascularisation. The most commonly used stress test is the Treadmill test, but this test has many limitations in patients with severe peripheral artery disease due to limited walking capacity. We report two patients treated with peripheral angioplasty in critical limb ischemia, who were asymptomatic at the time of presentation, and the symptoms occurred after the interventions opening the door to coronary angioplasty.
