Summary

„Pace and ablate” strategy has an emphasized role in the 2021 ESC Guidelines on pacemaker and cardiac resynchronization therapy. In this article we present a case of a middle-aged woman, who undergone left bundle branch area pacing with a novel 3D-shaped sheath and AV nodal ablation after unsuccessful pharmacological and ablative rhythm and frequency control. Clinical and echocardiographic parameters significantly improved after the procedure. Conduction system pacing techniques seem to be an efficient alternative of the traditional cardiac resynchronization therapies in properly selected patients.
